The most dangerous AI mistake is the one that looks convincing. Instead of “probably right” you get a clear failure notice with the reason.
The same task class, run repeatedly under test conditions, then the verdict: reliable, borderline, or unsuitable. First the report card, then the deployment.
A single binary with no third-party services. Before every release we machine-verify that nothing gets in that would need a way out.
To the objection that small local models are too weak: the public SWE-bench benchmark — fixing real bugs in large projects and passing the existing tests — jumped from under 5 % of tasks solved (2023) to over 70 % (2025). What matters today is not the size of the model, but whether its result is verified.
How much the machinery around the model matters was shown by a public measurement dispute around the ARC-AGI-3 benchmark in the summer of 2026: the same model solved 7.8 % of tasks in the official measurement — and, by its maker's own measurement, 38.3 % when operated with the maker's control system, which retains intermediate reasoning and manages the working context. Identical model, a fraction versus a multiple. That machinery — directing, checking, providing evidence — is the layer Mezzando works on.

No second set of access rights. Whoever may not open the file in the project will not see it in the answer either.
No document leaves your network — on request, entirely without an internet connection.
Core operation needs no internet. If a branch office or home office should join in: encrypted connection, every access a named person from your user directory, one personal key per person — individually revocable. Without a valid key, the system is invisible from outside.
Addressed like a colleague, with access to the assignment, attachments and history. The result goes back to whoever assigned it.
Mind docks onto the system you work with today — task management, project management or a specialist application. If you don't have one yet, it ships with its own workspace; your terms and workflows stay as they are.
For numbers, a different route is the right one anyway: have them calculated, not guessed.
Your archive is built from verified material
Not every document is as good as its content — scanned files, old copies. Mind checks every document on ingest for completeness and readability. Anything that cannot be used reliably is reported immediately, with a note on how to provide it in better form.
Special categories stay in the building
Health data and political opinions are specially protected under Art. 9 GDPR. Whether an AI may process them is decided by where processing happens — on your own hardware, that is not a matter of trust but a property of the installation.

What does the next question cost? Nothing.
With cloud providers you pay per token — every request, every retry, every test run. Exactly the working style that produces good results is what costs the most there. On your own hardware, the bill is the purchase; usage is free. Your people stop doing mental arithmetic. And freely available models keep improving — what only the largest could do a year ago, much smaller ones deliver today: every new model is a free upgrade on the same hardware.
Employees already use AI — privately
Microsoft and LinkedIn found in 2024 that 78 % of AI users at work use their own tools, not company-provided ones. Samsung banned ChatGPT company-wide in 2023 after developers had pasted confidential source code into it.

A leading cloud coding assistant uploaded complete source repositories including history to its provider — documented: 5.1 GB for a task that needed 192 KB. The provider stopped it and promised deletion. What never leaves your network never has to be recalled.

Even a provider with servers in Frankfurt sees your data; a promise is not a technical proof. What others have to secure through data-processing agreements simply doesn't arise with us: there is no third party you hand anything to.
